SEC Business Group is looking for a highly motivated Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter to join our team. This is not just a trade role — it’s an opportunity for the right person to step into leadership, grow a team, and help drive business development.
About the RoleFull-time position – Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
Vehicle provided
Hands-on role with scope to step into supervisory and leadership responsibilities
Support the company’s growth by taking initiative and identifying opportunities for new work
Long-term opportunity with genuine career progression
Fabrication, installation, and maintenance of conveyors, fixed plant, and structural components
Lead by example and mentor junior team members
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and additional work
Engage with clients on-site to build strong working relationships
Ensure work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Work both independently and collaboratively within the operations team
Trade qualified in Boilermaking or Mechanical Fitting
Strong leadership potential with the ability to guide and grow a team
Proactive, business-minded, and able to identify opportunities for further work
Excellent communication skills and client-facing confidence
Strong mechanical aptitude with proven hands-on industry experience
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship
Current driver’s licence
Relevant trade qualifications e.g Working at heights
Must have working rights in Australia
Willingness to travel
Company vehicle provided
