Job Description

At Forefront Services, we specialise in structural steel fabrication, installation, and mining services across Australia. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality outcomes in demanding environments while supporting the growth and development of our people. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join our Western Australia operations.

These roles offer a mix of workshop and site-based work, including opportunities within mining and heavy industrial projects. Responsibilities

  • Ensure all fabrication and welding activities are carried out to a high standard, and all measures are taken to produce a high-quality product.
  • Read drawings, blueprints, manuals, or specifications to determine work methods and the sequence of activities.
  • Being accurate, methodical, and practical when welding, fabricating, and installing steel structures.
  • Following all safety procedures, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring welding equipment is well-maintained.

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade qualification and 2 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong safety focus and the ability to operate within WHS policies.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills – ability to solve problems.
  • Confined Space, WAH, EWP, Forklift, Dogging, Overhead Crane Tickets are not essential but are preferable.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year We are able to provide sponsorship for valid VISA holders.
