KIPG are building a casual labourer pool to work in multiple processing functions across our Osborne site.

What’s also on Offer:

To someone with the right attitude and trade qualified or mechanically minded, a traineeship will be made available to progress to the Production Team Leader role and that will include the company putting you through the AO Accreditation course. 

These positions are on an as-needed basis and may include duties such as:

  • Assisting with general grain handling and site operations

  • Operating bag filling, bag sewing and container loading equipment (training provided)

  • Setting up and operating grain augers

  • Manual handling tasks

  • Assisting other team members as required to complete tasks efficiently

While not required, candidates who hold a current Forklift Licence (HR) may also complete and carryout:

  • Safe forklift operations (Counterbalance and/or Combi-Lift training)

  • Yard work including bulk container loading

About You:

  • Punctual and available at short notice

  • Willing to work flexible hours (standard operating hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm).

  • Experience in the grain industry or container loading preferred but not required

  • Be willing and able to follow detailed instructions and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment

  • Proven experience adhering to workplace health, safety and quality standards

  • Maybe have a trade qualification, currently hold AO accreditation, or previous AO experience.
