Tyre Fitting Technician

Adelaide Independent Bandag is a family owned business, operating in the Retail Tyre Servicing Sector for over 20 years. As one of the largest independent tyre retailers in Adelaide, with a network of 12 road-service vehicles, an earthmover tyre-handler truck and a State-of-the-art retreading facility, Adelaide Independent Bandag provides customers with exceptional levels of service and solution-based, fit-for-purpose products.

With 30 staff currently employed, and with rapid growth, we are currently looking to expand our team with enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities include

• Following and adhering to WHS directions and procedures

• Repairing, replacing and fitting heavy and light vehicle tyres

• Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)

• Inflating heavy and light vehicle tyres

• Balancing of heavy and light vehicle tyres 

• Correct and safe lifting of heavy and light vehicles to perform tyre servicing

• Conducting inventory stocktakes

• Conducting road-side tyre servicing and repairs

• Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe and reliable standard

About You;

• Previous Wheel & tyre experience/interest advantageous

• Current valid car driver’s licence. MR Licence advantageous

• Highly motivated with good time management skills

• Respect for customers and their property

• Strength and physical stamina

• Problem-solving skills
