Cameron Caravans is South Australia’s exclusive Crusader Caravans dealer, proudly family-owned and operated for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our servicing team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on mechanical role focused on servicing caravans, including bearings, brakes, suspension and general preventative maintenance. You’ll be working in a clean, well-equipped environment servicing a range of touring and off-road caravans.

You will be joining a fantastic, well-structured workshop team, supported by both a Workshop Manager and a Workshop Controller. This means your jobs are well organised, workloads are managed, and you are supported to focus on quality workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repacking and replacing wheel bearings

• Brake adjustments, servicing and repairs

• Suspension inspections and mechanical repairs

• Diagnosing and rectifying caravan mechanical faults

• General caravan servicing and preventative maintenance

• Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards

Gas system experience is preferred but not essential – training can be provided.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Caravan Service Technician or similar

• Strong understanding of bearings, brakes, suspension and trailer systems

• Ability to work efficiently and independently and take pride in workmanship

• Reliable, punctual and team-focused

• Welding or basic electrical skills are an advantage
