Landscape Team Leader

Meraki Landscape Construction is an award-winning Landscaping business that exists to bring creative, progressive, and practical outdoor solutions to homes across South Australia.

We are seeking a Landscape Team Leader to lead our premium residential landscaping projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role – you will work on the tools while overseeing project schedules, subcontractors and quality control. The role will be supported by a Project Manager who will assist with project planning and execution.

About the role:

• Lead daily on-site operations on high-end residential landscape projects with support from Project Manager
• Work on the tools alongside your team
• Coordinate daily site tasks including ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and on time
• Read and interpret detailed landscape plans and drawings
• Maintain high-quality control across hardscape and softscape works
• Uphold WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture
• Liaise with Project Manager and maintain professional client communication

You will bring:

• Experience in Landscape Construction – Cert III Landscape Construction (or trade equivalent) is preferred - Experience in a leadership role is advantageous but not essential as there will be support from Project Manager
• Capability in Landscaping aspects including but not limited to: Paving, retaining, drainage, basic concreting, timberwork, block and brickwork, irrigation, metal work (edging) and garden lighting
• Confident reading plans and following construction sequencing
• Confident in leading and motivating staff to work towards a common goal
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Current driver’s licence
