Auto Parts sales 2nd hand Parts Interpreter

About the role

Black Diamond Parts Plus is seeking an energised Auto Parts Sales/Parts Interpreter to join our team in our Royal Park, SA location. This full-time role will involve managing the sales of second-hand auto parts to customers, including interpreting their requirements and finding the right parts for their needs.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting customers in person and over the phone to identify the specific auto parts they require

2. Accessing our inventory database to locate the required parts and provide pricing information

3. Processing sales transactions and organising part collection or delivery for customers

4. Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and sales

5. Providing excellent customer service to build long-term relationships with our clients

6. Liaising with the auto dismantling team to ensure a steady flow of quality used parts

What we're looking for

1. A keen interest in automotive parts sales or customer service role

2. Strong product knowledge of a wide range of auto parts and components

3. Excellent customer service and communication skills

4. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

5. Competent in using inventory management and point-of-sale systems

6. A positive, helpful attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers
