Solar Panel & Window Cleaning Technician

Sunny's Window & Solar Care is a growing Adelaide-based business. We're a small team that takes pride in delivering a fantastic customer experience. We specialise in solar panel cleaning, window cleaning, and bird proofing.

We're looking for a reliable full-time technician who wants to be part of a growing team. After our 4-6 week training period, you will be allocated a fully equipped company vehicle for work use

You'll be working outdoors across Adelaide cleaning solar panels and windows. Some days it'll just be you, other days you'll team up and work on large commercial projects with the team.

If you like the thought of working outside, developing a new skillset and communicating with our friendly client base, you'd enjoy this role.

The specifics

What this role involves:

1. Cleaning residential and commercial solar panels and windows

2. Installing bird proofing mesh around solar panels

3. Working safely on ladders and roofs (all training provided)

4. Taking responsibility for cleaning and maintaining a work vehicle

5. Communicating with our residential and commercial client base

6. Driving between various jobs across Adelaide each day

What we're looking for

We can teach anyone to clean solar panels and windows; however, we're looking for someone who can confidently speak with customers and deliver a professional, enjoyable experience.

1. Physically fit and comfortable working on roofs and ladders

2. Experience in window cleaning or solar panel cleaning is great but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

3. Experience working at heights is great, but again not required

4. Valid Australian driver's licence

5. Valid Australian citizenship or permanent residency

6. Able to communicate professionally with customers on-site

7. Police and Working With Children clearance (can be obtained during training process)

Salary & Hours

This role is Monday–Friday.
$65,000–$80,000 salary depending on experience, plus a company vehicle after training.

Training / Start Date

We are looking to take the right person onboard ASAP.

4-6 weeks of on-site training working alongside the owner (Harvey) or our other techs, learning each service.
