Maintenance Fitter

Established in 1987, we are a fast-growing innovative food processing company supplying major supermarket chains in Australia and exporting around the world. The company currently employs 200 staff at their processing facilities in Adelaide.

We are seeking an experienced Fitter for our Athol Park site. The successful applicants will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. 

Excellent hourly rate plus paid overtime.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• maintenance

• installation

• breakdown

• fabrication

Candidates should have:

• Previous experience in FMCG environment

• Fault diagnostic knowledge

• Fabrication abilities

• TIG and MIG welding with extensive stainless-steel experience

• Packing machinery experience

• Lathe and Mill experience

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

• Ability to set up maintenance schedules

• Able to order correct parts from manufacturers manual

• Drivers licence

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential

• Good housekeeping skills.
