KAEFER is seeking a dedicated QA/QC INSPECTOR to join our team in Adelaide on a 2:1 ROSTER. This strategic role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of welding processes and procedures. The point-of-hire is at ANY CAPITAL CITY across Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting thorough inspections and testing of welding activities to verify adherence to industry standards and client specifications
Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures to identify and address welding defects
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and welders to resolve quality issues and improve welding processes
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all quality control activities
Providing training and guidance to welders to enhance their skills and knowledge
Staying up to date with the latest welding regulations, codes, and best practices
ABOUT YOU
Min. 3years experience as a QA/QC Inspector working in mining, heavy industry or fixed plant maintenance demonstrating a strong track record of successful quality assurance
CSWIP, and Senior Welding Inspector Ticket
Experience using and understanding the requirements of auditing and Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2008 / AS 4801:2001)
Experience performing multi-disciplinary inspections, interpreting isometric drawings, investigating non-conformances/discrepancies and implementing correct actions.
Able to understand technical information and design drawings
