About the role
This is a full-time trade customer service, sales and operations support representative [Parts Interpreter] role for our branch in Mile End-SA. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent selling and service experience to our customers, aiming to achieve exceptional satisfaction and promoting Totaline as customers preferred one-stop-shop for all their after-market, parts and supply needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions

  • Processing sales orders and customer payments efficiently

  • Aiming to contribute to branch growth through new customer acquisitions

  • Providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers at the trade counter

  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock management

  • Liaising with the wider team to ensure customer queries are resolved in a timely manner

  • You will also have shared warehouse responsibilities

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing sales role, ideally within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry is preferred though not essential

  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to provide technical advice to customers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and the desire to exceed customer expectations

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
