EXPERIENCED TRUCK AND DOG OPERATOR

About the role

PRB TIPPER HIRE is seeking an experienced NIGHTSHIFT Truck and 4 axle quad Operator to join our team in Croydon Park, SA 5008. This is a casual or ABN role, with potential of full time and the opportunity to work for a leading provider of road transport services within the civil, Transport & Logistics industry. What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a Truck and quad combination to transport bulk materials such as sand, gravel, and soil

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and well-maintained

• Liaising with clients and your boss to understand delivery requirements and schedules

• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries

• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

• Maintaining accurate CLEAN AND CLEAR records and documentation related to deliveries, hours worked, and vehicle maintenance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Truck and Dog Operator in the road transport industry

• Possess a valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, safety protocols, and best practices

• Excellent driving skills and the ability to manoeuvre large vehicles in a variety of situations

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and well-maintained vehicle

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required

• Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
