The Role

At YHI POWER, we aim to provide growth and opportunities for our employees. A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced, and well organized All Rounder to join our SA branch. Starting from Casual, this position will have the potential to become a full-time position.

Core Responsibilities

Reporting to SA State Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse / Delivery, etc. day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and hands-on person who excels under pressure, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a true team player.

Main responsibilities:

• Picking/packing/ delivering orders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery

• Load and unload batteries

• Provide effective warehouse / logistic support to the business

• Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to.

• Assist other team members to conduct the monthly stock take /reconciliation

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operation

• Adhering to Work Health and Safety procedures and following the standards at all times

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess the following:

• A current driver’s licence and forklift licence

• Happy to work in a physically demanding role as heavy battery lifting is required on daily work.

• A passion for excellent customer service

• A high level of attention to detail 

• Strong experience managing ad-hoc requests, handling multiple projects at once

• Superior verbal and written communication skills and a can-do attitude

• Agree on the statement of “No task too small or too big”

• Dependable and reliable
