Refrigeration and Air conditioning Apprentice

About the role

Redtech Commercial Refrigeration is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This full-time role will be based in Evanston South, SA 5116, providing you with an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and qualifications in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems

2. Gaining experience in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams

3. Learning how to safely handle and work with refrigerants and other equipment

4. Participating in on-the-job training and attending TAFE to complete your apprenticeship

5. Developing a broad range of practical and technical skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople

What we're looking for

1. A genuine interest and passion for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry

2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

3. Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

4. Willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude

5. The ability to work safely and follow instructions carefully

6. A commitment to completing your apprenticeship and obtaining your trade qualification
