About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Salesperson/Parts Interpreter to join our team at SMS Diesel Spares Pty Ltd in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role will involve providing exceptional customer service and expert parts knowledge to support our clients in the sales and distribution of diesel engine parts and accessories.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, both in-person and via phone, to identify the right parts for their needs.

2. Accurately processing sales orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts.

3. Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through training and research

4. Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment.

5. Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues as needed.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an automotive/diesel parts sales or customer service role.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

3. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve customer needs.

4. Keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

5. A passion for the diesel engine industry and a desire to continuously expand your product knowledge.
