About the role
We are looking for a Retail Products Specialist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Retail Products Specialist supports the Retail business in ensuring core transactional processes operate smoothly and are controlled effectively and efficiently. This includes processes across B2B procurement, intercompany transactions, freight invoicing and D365 systems, providing expert support and driving standardisation across the organisation. You will work closely with the branch network, and both regional and national management teams to provide high levels of internal customer services and continuous improvement across all aligned areas of Retail Products.
Responsibilities
Own and govern end-to-end business systems processes across B2B procurement, intercompany, freight, and various D365 operational modules
Establish, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), controls, and user guidance
Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and system defects, driving remediation, innovation and continuous improvement
Undertake analysis on transactions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Support transaction processing and invoicing for internal business units such as Elders Plant Genetics (EPG)
Lead onboarding and integration of suppliers into EDI frameworks, expanding capability and message types
Govern EDI transaction flows (orders, invoices, acknowledgements) to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Provide expert support in resolving discrepancies, including pricing, freight, and timing issues
Monitor transaction trends to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities
About you
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyse problematic situations and provide effective solutions
Strong Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Agricultural or related industry experience
Proven ability to interpret and apply financial information
Experience working within a sales organisation and/or agricultural setting highly regarded
D365 retail systems and administration experience desirable
Unencumbered driver’s licence and Q-Fever vaccination or proof of immunity
