Accounts & Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time)
Part-Time – 3 Days per Week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday preferable)
About the Role:
We are seeking an organised and proactive Accounts and Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our commercial property management business.
Reporting to the Principal and Supervisor, this is a varied role that combines property maintenance coordination, trust accounting support and general property administration. The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring these operational tasks are managed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate all maintenance requests and repairs
Liaise with tenants, contractors, and service providers
Obtain quotes and schedule works
Monitor and follow up outstanding maintenance items and repairs
Conduct onsite inspections when required
Financial & Trust Accounting Support
Daily trust account banking
Accounts payable processing
Processing routine rent reviews
Assistance with trust audits
Assistance with rent invoicing and operating expenses
End of month reporting
General Property Administration
Respond to all telephone and online enquiries
Manage operating expenses, budget audits and reconciliations
General property administration duties
Manage Key Register
Manage incoming mail
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
Previous office administration, accounts, property management or bookkeeping experience
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong communication, customer service skills and phone manner
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Commercial property experience
Trust accounting experience
Experience using property management software
