About Torrens Transit:
Torrens Transit, a major subsidiary of Transit Systems and the ASX listed Kelsian Group, is the primary public mobility provider in Adelaide, moving approximately three quarters of the city's bus commuters. Operating across extensive government contracted regions, including the Adelaide’s East West, North South, Outer North-East and Outer North contract areas relying on a workforce of over 1,400 employees and a sprawling metropolitan network of over 800 buses. These operations run out of six metropolitan depots, such as Morphettville, Mile End, and St Agnes, and encompass high frequency transit routes like the iconic Adelaide O Bahn corridor alongside high-capacity special event logistics.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an outstanding, high calibre Fleet and Facilities Manager to join our Senior Leadership team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will hold ultimate ownership of daily execution, safety, and operational excellence across our Fleet and Facilities portfolios.
This is a foundational senior operational leadership role spanning the whole business. The role holds full accountability for leading, planning, and executing day to day management, control, and coordination of Torrens Transit’s fleet maintenance, asset management, and depot/facilities operations in alignment with Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) service delivery contracts.

Performance in this role is measured through a balanced scorecard of key performance indicators (KPIs) focused heavily on the delivery of high fleet availability and reliability through proactive maintenance and defect management. Further assessment criteria include maintaining strong safety standards and reduced incident rates, ensuring maintenance costs remain within budget, achieving full facility compliance, and meeting targets for staff appraisal and performance, engagement and training.
