About the Role

LawrieCo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing, Inventory and Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Regency Park. This is a vital role supporting the business with Purchasing, Inventory management and Customer service. This position will suit someone who likes working autonomously, is analytical, proactive, and enjoys working within a manufacturing and sales environment.

The role reports to the National Operations Manager and is currently made up of around 40% Purchasing and Inventory functions, and 60% Customer service and administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership of day to day purchasing and inventory functions

Prepare and manage purchase orders

Stock receipts and invoice approvals

Input production batch records

Process Customer Orders

Customer Invoicing

Assist with Production planning

Manage vendors and build strong partnerships

Product and vendor sourcing

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stocktakes

Organise stock transfers and logistics between production and customer sites

Organise domestic and international freight

Provide administrative support across production and operations

Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service

Manage ERP data in Myob Exo

Prepare weekly sales and inventory reports

General administrative duties as required

Develop a basic understanding of LawrieCo products

Any other tasks as required and appropriate for the role

What You'll Need

Purchasing experience of 2 years or more

Inventory management experience of 1 year or more

Customer Service experience of 1 year or more

Experience conducting and reconciling stocktakes

Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Work, Excel)

Intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills

Proficiency in Excel formulas, pivot tables and charts for data analysis and reporting

Experience with ERP systems (Myob Exo is preferred but not essential)

Vendor negotiation Skills

Familiarity with chemicals and related documentation (e.g. Safety Data Sheets) - Preferred

Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams

Able to develop, understand and use Standard Operating Procedures

WHS awareness and procedural compliance

A general interest in agriculture!
