HC/MC Truck Drivers

About the role

We are seeking experienced HC/MC Truck Drivers to join our team at United Precast Pty Ltd in Ottoway, SA. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our precast concrete products to job sites across South Australia. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating HC/MC trucks to deliver precast concrete products to construction sites

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in good working condition

• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to maintain safety standards

• Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring on-time deliveries

• Assisting with loading and unloading of trucks as required

• Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety

What we're looking for

• Valid HC/MC driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

• The hourly rate IS NOT A FLAT RATE, you WILL get allowances and overtime on top of this RATE.

• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards

• Ability to work independently and take initiative when required
