We are looking for an experienced full-time Retail Pharmacist who can join our team as soon as possible. You will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, providing professional advice and counselling to customers, managing prescriptions, supporting medication management services, maintaining pharmacy stock, and ensuring compliance with relevant pharmacy regulations and professional standards.&nbsp; <h3>Benefits</h3>Employee discountProfessional development assistance&nbsp; <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Dispensing prescription medicines (including medicine counselling)</li><li>Reviewing customer’s dispense history files to ensure medicines are prescribed correctly and subject to any limitations imposed by law and/or prescribing practitioners.</li><li>Providing advice including in relation to the use and administration of medicines, health products, therapeutic devices, side effects, drug contraindications/interactions, etc.</li><li>Adhering to requirements relating to the dangerous drugs, including updating and maintaining dangerous drugs register.</li><li>Maintain dispensary stock, including stock rotation, ordering, expiry-date checking and ensuring that medicines and vaccines are stored in required conditions.</li><li>Maintain pharmacy security, including the secure opening and closing of the pharmacy as required.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or higher qualification in a relevant field</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a pharmacist</li><li>Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment, follow directions, and demonstrate a willingness to learn</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate and safe dispensing practices</li><li>Sound knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medications, and relevant professional standards</li><li>Ability to provide professional advice and counselling to customers regarding medications and general health matters</li></ul>
