Candidate should be proficient in constructing, erecting, installing, renovating, and repairing structures and fixtures using timber, plywood, lightweight steel, wallboard, and other materials. A quick learner with excellent attention to detail and strong work ethics. <h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Stable full-time employment</li><li>Opportunity to learn and work on diverse construction projects</li><li>Competitive Salary</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Study architectural plans, specifications, and technical drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and installation requirements.</li><li>Complete site setouts and construct timber wall and ceiling frames, partitions, eaves, and roofing structures.</li><li>Select, measure, mark and order appropriate timber, hardware and other building materials, and prepare detailed site layouts in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Install structural and internal components, including flooring, stairs, panelling, partitions, and timber framing using appropriate fixings.</li><li>Install windows, doors, and associated hardware, including hinges, handles, locks, and smart locks.</li><li>Construct and erect timber wall frames, partitions, roof frames and other structural components, ensuring structures are accurately aligned, level, plumb and true.</li><li>Install sub-flooring, floorboards and other timber flooring components, ensuring secure fixing, accurate positioning and appropriate finishes.</li><li>Perform finishing carpentry and internal fitouts, including wardrobes, skirting, architraves, bathroom second-fix work, and media walls.</li><li>Undertake residential renovations, including the repair, replacement, and upgrading of damaged timber structures.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Certificate III in Carpentry&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Carpenter in residential and construction projects.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship</li></ul>
