Sales Support / Estimator

CD Power – Adelaide, SA

The Company

CD Power is a South Australian owned and operated business delivering reliable power solutions across some of Australia’s harshest and most remote environments.

We specialise in power generation, battery energy storage, solar hybrid systems and remote energy solutions—supporting industries including mining, agriculture, oil & gas, utilities, government and commercial sectors.

From standalone generators to fully integrated hybrid microgrids, we design, build and support systems that keep critical operations running.

Due to continued growth across key customers and new project opportunities, we are looking for a Sales Support / Estimator to join our team.

The Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting the sales and project teams with pricing, estimating and coordination.

You’ll play a key role in turning opportunities into delivered projects—working across sales, engineering and operations to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations for generators, battery systems, solar hybrid systems and service work

  • Assist with tender submissions, proposals and compliance documentation

  • Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing

  • Support customer enquiries, follow-ups and opportunity tracking

  • Assist with budget pricing and project estimates

  • Maintain CRM systems, quote registers and pricing databases

  • Coordinate information between sales, engineering, operations and service teams

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and customers

  • Assist in resolving pricing, supply or scope issues during project handover

About You

  • Experience in estimating, sales support, internal sales or tender coordination

  • Ability to understand technical products and pricing structures

  • Strong organisation and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications (highly regarded)

  • Experience in power generation, electrical, mining or renewable energy industries (advantageous)

Why Join CD Power?

  • Work on diverse and technically interesting energy projects

  • Be part of a team-focused business

  • Exposure to cutting-edge power and hybrid energy systems

  • Supportive environment with real opportunity to develop
