Access Training Centre (ATC) is a highly regarded Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally accredited training across the Construction, Resources, Manufacturing, Mining, Transport and Logistics industries. We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Infrastructure & Facilities Coordinator to join our Training Operations team. Based at our Dudley Park facility, this full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity to support the ongoing operation, maintenance and development of ATC's training facilities across multiple South Australian locations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring ATC's training facilities, equipment and infrastructure remain safe, compliant and operational. Working across multiple sites, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors, oversee asset servicing requirements and support the day-to-day delivery of training operations.

This role offers a unique blend of facilities coordination, asset management, operational support and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic training environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance, repair and cleaning of buildings, training facilities, plant and equipment.

  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safety, compliance and operational readiness.

  • Manage asset registers and schedule maintenance activities through ATC's maintenance management systems.

  • Coordinate and monitor contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed to required standards.

  • Ensure training rooms, practical training areas and equipment are prepared and operational for course delivery.

  • Support day-to-day training operations and room set-ups across multiple training sites.

  • Assist learners and clients by identifying training needs and supporting training delivery activities where required.

  • Participate in WHS inspections, hazard identification and risk management activities.

  • Coordinate emergency evacuation and lockdown drills.

  • Support the implementation of organisational projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Travel between ATC facilities and client sites as required.

About You

You are an organised and adaptable professional with experience in facilities management, infrastructure coordination, maintenance coordination or operational support. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, building strong relationships and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

You will bring:

  • Experience in facilities, infrastructure, maintenance or operations coordination.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working within training, education, industrial, construction or operational environments (highly regarded).

  • Knowledge of asset management and contractor coordination processes.

  • An understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience.

  • Current and valid Driver's Licence.

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Ability to participate in regular Fit for Work testing.

  • Willingness to travel between ATC locations and client sites.

Desirable

  • South Australian Forklift High Risk Work Licence.

  • Experience within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

  • Understanding of the Standards for RTOs and training compliance requirements.
