About the role
Join SA Pathology as a Technical Officer and help support the delivery of high quality Food and Environmental Laboratory services within a collaborative and technically focused environment. You will apply your technical expertise across a broad range of laboratory activities while contributing to accurate testing and timely results that support important public health and environmental outcomes.
In this role, you will perform standard and complex testing across multiple technical methods and laboratory domains while applying sound technical judgement and problem solving skills. You will also contribute to research and project activities, support quality outcomes, provide technical advice and recommendations, and assist with supervising and training less experienced staff to help maintain high standards of laboratory performance and service delivery.
About You
You are a motivated and technically skilled laboratory professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and delivering high quality testing and service outcomes.
• Relevant diploma or advanced diploma qualification
• Experience across microbiology laboratory operations
• Support teams and resolve technical issues confidently
• Prioritise workloads and deliver accurate results
