About the Role:Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of IT services across our Australian business. In this important hands-on role, you will lead the local IT team, provide essential first-level support to end users, and manage key IT projects. The main focus of the IT Coordinator is on the client environment, with the network &amp; server environment being centrally managed. You will collaborate closely with our Central IT team in Hamburg to seek second level support, ensure corporate compliance and drive company-wide initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a secure, compliant, and customer-oriented IT environment that supports the strategic goals of the company.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate the efficient operation of the customer service desk and manage issue resolution.</li><li>Provide first-level IT support to local end users, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruption.</li><li>Act as the key point of contact for IT escalations, business support, and project management.</li><li>Partner with Central IT teams to execute global IT projects and initiatives.</li><li>Ensure adherence to IT security protocols, compliance guidelines, and corporate IT policies.</li><li>Manage hardware procurement, onboarding, offboarding, and IT budgets.</li><li>Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms for IT services.</li><li>Lead and develop the local IT team while promoting effective communication between local and central IT functions.</li><li>Manage IT tools and software (Microsoft Office 365, SCCM, MS Active Directory, etc.) and maintain compliance with ITIL standards.</li><li>Create and implement IT policies, procedures, and risk management strategies to support business continuity.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in ICT</li><li>At least 3 years full time work experience in IT operations and service delivery within a corporate environment.</li><li>Technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, SCCM, Office 365, Windows 10/11, and more.</li><li>Leadership experience, including team management and project delivery.</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service.</li><li>Ability to manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and support external service providers.</li><li>A deep understanding of IT security protocols and change management processes.</li><li>Experience with IT service management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Valuemation (training will be provided).</li><li>Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, Meraki hardware, FortiGate firewalls, and Microsoft Intune.</li></ul>Why you should join us:At Jungheinrich, we believe that our culture, based on the ‘Jellow Way’ (we are Open, Active, Efficient, and we Care), drives our success.<ul><li>As a key member of our IT team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations and contribute to our ambitious goals, supported by a secure, innovative, and growth-oriented environment.</li><li>Join a secure group focused on sustainable, profitable growth with a strong financial foundation.</li></ul>This is your opportunity to help us achieve the ambitious goals we’ve set—powered by energy and innovation.
