We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, self-motivated and reliable individual who is passionate about their Hotel Management career.
Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, the Night Manager will utilise their management skills and knowledge of front office operations to ensure all responsibilities pertaining to the role are carried our proficiently. The Night Manager will be dedicated to consistently deliver a high standard of customer service, leadership and have sound knowledge of hotel's procedures, products and services.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
Have extensive knowledge of all accounting standards and procedures as they pertain to night audit.
Compile reports pertaining to room occupancy and revenue, projected and actual sales information and historical statistics as required by the Assistant Front Office Manager for end of month.
Knowledge of hotel room types, room rates, location and hotel amenities.
Knowledge of emergency and fire procedures and ensure all night team personnel are trained.
Ensure that all guest requests are met.
Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed and executed to a high standard.
Be familiar with all VIP's, groups, tour arrivals and special requests for accommodation and amenities.
Ensure that all guest room security procedures are followed.
Work with all pre-set budget requirements.
To succeed in this role you will not only be reliable and a great communicator but will also possess the following attributes:
Extensive experience in front office operations. (Essential)
Ability to analyse and reconcile reports (Essential)
Have sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
A team player attitude and ability to build positive working relationships.
Ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures.
Ability to meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
High level of confidentiality.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis working from 11:00pm to 7:00am over a 7-day rotating roster between our two properties, so you must have full availability.
