Cook / Chef – Remote South Australia | Ongoing Role | Early July Start
  
We are seeking an experienced Cook or Chef to join a busy, well-established hospitality venue in Remote South Australia, operating a popular mix of restaurant, bar, retail shop, fuel stop and caravan park accommodation. This is a hands-on role in a high-functioning remote venue where strong kitchen skills, adaptability and consistency are essential, and where your experience will be valued from day one.
  
This opportunity is ideal for a chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced à la carte and bistro environment, delivering quality meals across lunch and dinner service while being part of a small, committed team. With full onsite facilities and a strong operational setup, this role offers stability, routine, and the chance to build savings while working in a supported environment.

Package Includes
• $35.18 per hour Monday–Friday
• $45.89 per hour Saturday & Sunday
• Accommodation and meals available – $150 per week
• Own private room with shared bathroom facilities
• Ongoing, long-term employment
• Early July commencement

Key Responsibilities
• Preparation and cooking of à la carte and bistro-style meals
• Short-order cooking during service periods
• Running service alongside a kitchen hand
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen
• Supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
• Assisting across other venue departments when required

About You
• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a busy kitchen
• Strong à la carte experience across multiple sections
• Previous remote area experience highly regarded
• Confident working in a small team and hands-on environment
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to assist across departments
• Must have own transport preferred
