Who are we

Rembrandt Living is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our allied health team in Adelaide.  We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and new graduates looking to start their career in a collaborative and rewarding environment.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to our elderly clients in Home Care. You will work as part of a collaborative team while managing a diverse and rewarding caseload with support from our Senior Occupational Therapist.

About You

  • Have some experience in providing occupational therapy services to older clients in the community 
  • Be committed to empowering older people to live well and remain independent at home
  • Ability to manage service challenges and implement improvement initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Must have a current First Aid Certificate, a valid Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with coordinators, support workers and clients who have support at home packages from Rembrandt Living in the community 
  • Supportive small team of OT’s, working with nurses, Physiotherapist and AHA to support clients aged over 65 years
  • Professional development opportunities supported
  • Clinical supervision offered
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team (Nursing, OT, PT, AHA , Service Coordinators and social Programs) 
  • Working in Metro Adelaide 
  • Full-time/part-time applicants welcome – flexible work conditions can be negotiated. 
  • Provision of lap top and a mobile phone to complete work activities
  • Km reimbursement when using your own car, opportunities to use fleet cars are available
  • Ability to support newly graduated OT 
  • Opportunity to contribute to continuous practice improvements and positive client outcomes
