About the Role
RN-1 As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting consumers on their journey towards improved mental health, wellbeing and recovery. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will provide direct nursing care, individual case management, education, counselling and group-based interventions that empower consumers to achieve their personal recovery goals. With guidance and support from experienced Mental Health Nurses, you will continue to build your clinical expertise, strengthen your professional practice and develop your capabilities through ongoing learning and hands-on experience. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with other health professionals and community organisations to deliver holistic, person-centred care, while taking accountability for your own practice and contributing to positive outcomes for consumers, their families and the broader community.
RN-2 As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a valued role in delivering compassionate, recovery-focused mental health care across a variety of settings within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP). Working as a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, individual case management, education, counselling and group-based interventions that support consumers to achieve their best possible health and wellbeing outcomes. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, community partners and non-government organisations, while also contributing to the development and mentoring of less experienced staff. This is an engaging opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise, take ownership of your professional practice, and contribute to service improvement initiatives, clinical teaching, research, and projects that shape mental health care delivery. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers and their families, and thrive in a supportive, values-driven environment, we would love to hear from you.
