Dental Assistant

About the role

Victoria Park Dental Specialists is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Eastwood, SA 5063. In this essential role, you will provide support to our orthodontists and hygienists, helping to ensure the highest level of patient care and a smooth operation of our dental practice. Available for immediate start, 4-5 days per week.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting orthodontists during procedures by passing instruments, preparing materials, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment

• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

• Greeting and welcoming patients, and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit

• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information

• Ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed

• Performing other administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not essential. Onsite training will be provided.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient-focused approach

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Relevant dental assisting qualifications or certifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is required for this position

• Working with children check is required for this role
