For more than 62 years the Martin family has proudly served the northern suburbs and surrounding areas. Our name has become synonymous with excellence in dental prosthetic and dental services and we are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team.

This is a casual position with an immediate start requiring availability for Thursday afternoons and Saturdays. Additional shifts may be available to cover staff leave and illness. We are looking for an all-rounder who is confident working in both dental assisting and reception roles.

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care while supporting the smooth operation of the practice through a combination of chairside assisting and front reception duties.

• Chairside dental assisting

• Preparing treatment rooms and materials

• Instrument cleaning, sterilisation, and infection control procedures

• Recording treatment information in patient records

• Collecting and maintaining patient medical and dental histories

• Front reception duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient enquiries

• Processing accounts and payments

• Stock ordering and inventory management

• General administrative and practice support duties

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (minimum)

• Previous experience in both dental assisting and reception

• Proficiency with Dental4Windows (D4W)

• Excellent knowledge of infection control standards

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail

• Outstanding patient care and customer service skills

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Availability to work both Thursday afternoons and Saturdays
