About the role

Dental Excellence Adelaide is seeking a  motivated and skilled Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant with some interest in Dental Receptionist role to join our team . As the Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time or part time position to suitable applicant  based in Adelaide CBD.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists  during procedures by preparing equipment, passing instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow

• Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries and concerns

• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed

• Sterilising and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols

• Ordering and managing dental supplies to ensure the practice is always well-stocked

• Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist, preferably in a dental practice setting desirable

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in using dental software and equipment

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety

• A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to support the dental team in any way needed
