We’re on the lookout for a Fulltime Maintenance Technician who’s as committed to keeping things running smoothly as we are to creating iconic flavour (yes, including our famous strawberry jam).  As part of our Maintenance team, you’ll be entrusted with ensuring the reliability, safety and efficiency of our plant, equipment and infrastructure at our family farm in Hahndorf.

• You’ll be a maintenance maestro, jumping on breakdowns across production machinery, plant, and equipment with speed and precision, because downtime isn’t our flavour.
• You’ll be our production superhero on speed dial, swooping in to tackle quality quirks and efficiency hiccups, cape optional, and occasionally saving the day after hours.
• You’ll keep our machinery running at its best, overseeing setup, start-up, shutdown and operating parameters, while delivering preventative and breakdown maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
• You’ll be our safety trailblazer, steering risk assessments, mastering lock out/tag out like a pro, upholding OHS standards, and making sure every machine plays by the rules.
• You’ll be our hands-on builder and fixer, leading repairs, upgrades and installs, tackling everything from welding and building maintenance to shutdown projects and shiny new plant commissioning.
• You’ll be our quality guardian, living and breathing QA and HACCP, thinking two steps ahead when machinery changes, and keeping our CMMS records spot-on and audit ready.
• You’ll be our continuous improvement champion, always on the lookout for smarter ways to work, keeping inventory in check, and rolling up your sleeves to keep production powering ahead.

Now, for your own ingredients list. You’ll be the right person for this role if you:

• Have an Electrical qualification and looking for work-life balance with a twist? Enjoy full-time hours across four days, with a rotating Monday/Friday RDO and a mix of early and afternoon shifts to keep production rolling.
• You’ve got hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing (bonus if it’s food production).
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs are your thing, you get equipment back up and running fast.
• You’re confident with ELV, control, VSD and motor control circuits.
• You know your way around CMMS and preventative maintenance systems, keeping machinery humming.
• HACCP, GMP and food safety matter to you, you work safely with strong attention to detail.
• You’re practical, solutions-focused and stay calm when things get tricky on the production floor.
• You’re a collaborative self-starter who communicates well and helps lift the team.
• You love all things food, flavour and South Australian, Beerenbergy goodness.
