Are you driven by achieving improved housing outcomes for people with disability?

Would you like to work within a dynamic, values-driven team committed to delivering great outcomes for tenants?

If so, this could be the role for you.

This role is offered on a full-time basis (negotiable) on a 12-month contract initially.

Who are we?

inhousing is an innovative social landlord focused on supporting people with disability to live in homes that are fully accessible, thoughtfully designed, and connected to community.

We believe a great home is more than just its physical design — it is about choice, lifestyle, and meaningful connection to community life.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Data and Maintenance Officer to support the integrity of our property, tenancy, and maintenance data within the Chintaro system.

This is a hands-on operational role that combines data management, maintenance coordination, and tenancy administration support. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems are accurate, our maintenance activity is well coordinated, and our reporting supports effective decision-making.

You will be highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities, and confident working with internal teams, tenants, and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property, tenancy, maintenance, and contractor records within Chintaro

  • Coordinate and monitor maintenance requests and work orders, liaising with contractors, tenants, and internal staff

  • Ensure rental and tenancy records are accurately maintained through daily data entry, reconciliation, and month-end processes

  • Produce timely operational, maintenance, and compliance reports

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues

  • Support maintenance, asset management, and operational projects as required

  • Contribute to system improvements, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Assist in maintaining compliance and supporting safe, efficient housing operations

About you

You will bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data and systems

  • Experience in data administration, property/tenancy systems, maintenance coordination, or similar operational roles

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to build positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal teams

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work

  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment

  • A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for people with disability and vulnerable community members

Our values

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to supporting people with disability to have choice, control, and meaningful participation in community life.

You will contribute to a workplace culture that is respectful, inclusive, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that directly supports better housing outcomes for people with disability, while working in a supportive and purpose-driven organisation.

Accommodations

The role will be appointed based on merit and people with disability are encouraged to apply.

Please reach out to us if you need any adjustments in order to apply for this role, including the requirement for a drivers license if this is not accessible for you.

Contracted hours can be negotiated and we offer a hybrid work environment working both from home and in our office based in Unley.

Personal insight of what it means to have a disability will be highly regarded.

inhousing values diversity. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, abilities and identities, including people with disability and First Nations people.

We offer an inclusive culture and flexible work arrangements so that all staff feel safe, valued and supported to achieve their best. For example, we have flexible work hours, we allow staff to work partly from home, and we provide accessible office equipment. We encourage requests for reasonable adjustments.

We are committed to providing an accessible recruitment process for all. We invite any queries or requests to ensure the recruitment process is barrier-free.

Why work for us?
  • As a registered not for profit organisation, we offer full salary sacrifice benefits to our employees.

  • A genuine commitment to work / life balance for our employees.

  • We offer meaningful work with a sense of purpose – this is more than 'just a job'.

  • Varied work – you won't be bored.

  • Supportive and friendly organisational and team culture with shared values of social justice.

  • Be part of a passionate team.
