About the role
Wiltja Boarding is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Youth Worker to join our Active Night Shift team at Lightsview. In this important role, you will work directly with Anangu secondary students who board at Wiltja and study at Avenues College.
You will actively support students' safety, wellbeing and learning by engaging with them in the boarding environment and contributing to a range of health, educational, and recreational activities. Your focus will be on building positive relationships and helping improve students' social and educational outcomes during their time away from home.

Qualifications
Essential: Nil
Desirable: A professional qualification in youth work, community services, or an allied field
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

2 x Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Youth Workers (one male, one female)
