Rosary School is seeking a dedicated part-time Education Support Officer (ESO) Curriculum to join our vibrant and collaborative school community.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting high-quality teaching and learning and who value their role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Working under the direction of a teacher, the ESO plays a vital supporting role in enhancing student learning by assisting with classroom programs, providing targeted student support, and contributing to the overall educational experience of our students.

We have one position available (28.75 hrs/week), with the option to split the hours into two part-time roles for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support student learning through the preparation of high-quality resources, classroom materials, and learning aids
  • Provide individual and small-group support to students under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Assist teachers with student supervision during classroom activities, excursions, and school events
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with students, families, and the wider school community

Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

  • A proven ability to develop strong, professional working relationships with students and classroom teachers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to excellence in supporting teaching and learning
  • A proactive, flexible, and supportive presence in the classroom
