Diploma Educator / Room Leader
Hackham West Children's Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Educator to join our leadership team as we embark on an exciting new chapter.
This is a unique opportunity to lead an established team of educators and play a key role in our transition into a brand-new, purpose-built early childhood facility opening in the coming months. Looking beyond this exciting move, our centre will become part of a new Integrated Hub in 2027, working in partnership with the Department for Education, Office of Early Childhood Development and local community services to provide high-quality, integrated support for children and families.

Long Day Care

As a Diploma Educator / Room Leader, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of educators
Build strong, responsive relationships with children and families
Create engaging learning environments that reflect children's interests and strengths
Support curriculum planning and documentation aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
Contribute to the exciting transition into our new purpose-built centre
Help shape the future of our service as we become part of an innovative Integrated Hub
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Current Working With Children Check
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a range of shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practice
Knowledge of Circle of Security
Leadership or mentoring experience
