NDIS Support Coordinator
We are seeking a support coordinator to join our team in South Australia, providing quality services to participants funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you are looking for a contract position which includes genuinely flexible working hours and working from home, then this role might be for you! This role is a work from home position however it does require travel to participant's homes and community locations in South Australia.
We are seeking a support coordinator to assist participants across Adelaide, including the northern suburbs. The right applicant has the opportunity to extend their services to the Yorke Peninsula, Barossa and/or Adelaide Hills regions.
We are seeking applicants with experience, whether that be employment, having a lived experience of disability or being a family member/carer.
We also welcome applications from support coordinators already working in the space that are impacted by the closure of their current places of employment.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be an honest and highly organised worker with excellent communication, be details oriented and a whizz at report writing. As this is a contractor's role, you will be a self-starter, and able to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
The successful applicant will provide services across metro Adelaide, with the option to outreach to country SA. You must be located in South Australia. Applicants based in regional or rural South Australia will also be considered.

Essential criteria to be addressed in cover letter:
· Minimum 3 months experience in NDIS support coordination, NDIS Planner or LAC role, proven by excellent understanding of support coordinators role and NDIS sector; or an explanation of lived experience and how this relates to the role
· Understanding of various NDIS systems and processes
· Experience working alongside stakeholders such as hospitals, OPA and DCP (preferred)
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Honest and transparent
· Social work degree or final year student (preferred, not essential)
· Willing to travel to participants homes as part of service delivery
· Must have ABN and purchase professional indemnity and public liability insurances
· As this is a contractor position, you must also have your own laptop and internet access and be able to use these competently. A work phone can be provided upon negotiation
· Provision of worker clearances, e.g. SAPOL/National Police Certificate, WWCC, and NDIS worker clearance
· COVID-19 vaccination
· C class drivers license and insured, reliable car (preferable, not essential)
· NDIS Induction module and Infection control training (can be issued as part of induction)
Benefits:
This position is a contractor’s role and would suit someone already working in the sector wanting additional flexible work or someone looking for 8-25 hours work per week. This is a work from home position, with travel to participant homes or community spaces as required. Negotiable hourly rate depending on experience, qualification and other attributes. Superannuation contributions will be made for this role in addition to the hourly rate. Level 2 Support Coordination up to $62 per hour; Specialist Support Coordination $70-150 per hour, plus superannuation 12%. Contract is for twelve months and expected ongoing contract if successful in role. Rates are negotiated each financial year.
