We specialise in custom joinery solutions, with particular expertise in dental and medical fit-outs, as well as the design and manufacture of residential kitchens, bathrooms, and bespoke cabinetry. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Architecture Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of commercial and residential projects while working within a supportive and experienced environment.

The ability to work independently is essential. You will report directly to the owner.

Role

  • Assist in the planning and organization of various projects.

  • Interpret architectural plans, regulations, and codes to ensure compliance and adherence to industry standards.

  • Generate sketches and drawings under the guidance of senior team members ensuring correct specifications.

  • Preparing, refining, and updating plans and drawings as necessary throughout every stage of the project's life cycle.

  • Work closely with the team to coordinate and monitor works programs, ensuring efficient project timelines.

  • Prepare and convert drafting files into CNC-compatible formats for production.

  • Conduct regular inspections of work and materials to verify compliance with specifications, regulations, and quality standards.

  • Assist in calculating project costs and estimating time scales, contributing to effective project budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, to further the enhance the team’s performance

Skill & Experience

  • At least a diploma in the relevant field

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar role

  • AutoCAD, Sketch up and 3D rendering software

  • Strong proficiency in interpreting architectural plans and technical documents.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Be punctual, hardworking, and dedicated.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Other requirements:

· National police check

Driver’s License Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime
