Design Associate

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Associate to join our friendly and professional team, working on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects while continuing to develop your skills and career.

Based at our Head Office and reporting to the Design Manager, you will work closely with designers, project managers, consultants, and the construction team to support the delivery of projects from concept through to completion.

Reporting to the Design Manager, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit

• Residential and commercial design, drafting knowledge and experience

• Produced working drawings for residential & commercial projects

• Have an understanding of the relevant Australian standards and building codes

• Liaise with project consultants, approving authorities, clients and other stakeholders

• Prepare building specifications and schedules

• Implement safety in design protocols into projects

• Strong knowledge of Revit and other associated Autodesk Building Design Suite programs

• Experience with graphic design software; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

• Experience with Enscape & V-Ray Rendering software

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Ability to work effectively under pressure to critical deadlines
