WSP in Australia is looking for a motivated Construction Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical, on‑site work, has great attention to detail, and wants to grow their skills while supporting experienced engineers and project managers. Applicants must be prepared for FIFO work—this role is site‑focused, with around 80% of your time spent on in‑state or interstate project sites. What You’ll Do As part of our construction and quality assurance team, you will: Support the delivery of construction projects by helping implement project plans and programsAssist with site activities while following WSP, client, and government safety requirementsIdentify safety hazards, and report incidents in line with OH&S standardsKeep accurate records of site activities, focusing on Quality Assurance and Quality ControlCarry out QA inspections and testing for earthworks, geosynthetics installation, and general constructionCommunicate site progress to senior engineers and project managersSupport internal teams with office-based tasks, data analysis, and report preparationInterpret drawings, plans, and specificationsHelp prepare tenders, reports, cost estimates, and construction methodologiesPerform other duties as needed to support project delivery What You’ll Bring You’ll succeed in this role if you have: 2–6 years’ experience, including 4+ years on construction sitesExperience with bulk earthworks, field testing, sampling, and geosyntheticsStrong written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear field reportsA strong focus on safety and qualityThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood time management and organisation skillsA current driver’s licence Bonus Skills (not Essential But Helpful) Trade certificatesNuclear density gauge licenceTraining such as forklift, EWP, working at heights, or confined space Why Join WSP?
