Our client is the industry leader in sustainable waste management solutions. We're currently looking for Plant Operator to join our dynamic team based in Wingfield.

Tenure: 3 months, temp to perm opportunity.

Days & Hours: Mon-Fri & 32hrs per week potentially more

Pay rate: $44.56 per hr incl casual loading

Duties:

Operating earthmoving equipment (i.e. Frontend Loader, landfill compactor, excavator & skid steer) up to and including 150 BHP (estimated 112kW, Less than 20 Tonne)

Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading of waste or other materials

Excavate, load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations

Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

Assist with general housekeeping duties

Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

Essential Requirements:

Drivers Licence

Excavator or Loader ticket

Must be able to pass a Drug and alcohol screen and Police check

Ideal candidate

Has the ability to keep to tight deadlines and work autonomously in a high presuure environment

Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work

Commitment to safety

Self-motivated

Mechanical aptitude

Wiliness to assist co-workers as required
