Construction Modeler/Estimator

About the role:

As a Construction Modeler/Estimator, you will be required to work Full-time, Monday to Friday, based at our Torrensville office, South Australia. This role requires the ability to develop detailed construction models, documentation, and estimates for residential building projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

·         Review project requirements, specifications and scope of work

·         Review design options and recommend best solutions, considering, cost, engineering quality or availability

·         Prepare construction models using SketchUp + PlusSpec

·         Produce accurate estimates using V2E’s estimating tools

·         Prepare working documentation and layouts (where applicable)

About you:

Candidates with experience in at least one of the following attributes are encouraged to apply:

·         Construction or building industry experience (qualified trades welcome)

·         Drafting or drawing using CAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar

·         Construction estimating experience

Essential attributes:

·         Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software

·         Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously

·         Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
