Disability Support Worker

About the Role

Do you have an interest in health and fitness and want to support our client with similar passion? Do you have resilience in working with clients with challenging behaviours? There is an opportunity for immediate start covering a 24/7 roster.

Disability Support Workers with YNA deliver exceptional care and support backed by an experienced team. We have options for DSWs to work in the community to support those living with a disability. The role may include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication supervision, light housekeeping duties, transporting and social support. Your communication skills will need to be clear & effective to meet the needs and choices of our clients.

What you will bring to the role

• Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care / Individual Support

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
