Full time
At Live Easy, we’re creating a new kind of home care service — one that feels more personal, more connected, and more human. We believe aged care should be built around real relationships, trust, and consistency.
We are seeking dedicated Live Easy Buddies to join our growing team in Full-Time, Part-Time (minimum availability of 7hours a day, three days per week), and Casual positions.
What does a Buddy do?
As a Live Easy Buddy, you’ll help older people to continue living safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes and community.
This role combines direct care delivery and care coordination duties, so travel between clients throughout the day will be required.
Depending on your clients’ needs, your day may include:
Assisting with personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Helping with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
Providing transport and accompaniment to appointments, social outings, or community activities
Offering companionship and social support
Monitoring client wellbeing and identifying changes or concerns
Coordinating services and communicating with families and allied health providers
Assisting with care plans, service reviews, and day-to-day scheduling of supports
Helping ensure services are delivered within client goals and budgets
This is a unique role that combines in-person care delivery to older clients living at home, while also helping coordinate and manage the services they receive. You do not need previous care coordination experience to apply. We will provide training and support to help you build confidence in the coordination side of the role.
Unlike many traditional community support roles, you’ll build ongoing relationships with your clients and become a consistent and trusted point of contact for them and their families.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in community care, home care, disability, or aged care
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Willingness to learn and take on care coordination responsibilities
