Job Overview

Your primary role will be at the heart of BankSA’s branch network, welcoming customers, engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will use product knowledge to assist customers both in person and over the phone, and refer them to specialised banking teams when necessary. This is a rewarding position that empowers customers to make the most of their money every day.

Working Hours and Availability

Permanent part‑time role, 32.5 hours per week across 9:00 – 16:15, Monday to Friday. The position may require covering planned or unplanned leave across nearby Westpac Group branches, so a willingness to travel and flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Advisor you will:

  • Welcome and greet customers in person and over the phone.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate banking solutions.
  • Achieve sales and referral targets.
  • Handle cash and complete financial transactions accurately.
  • Maintain composure and provide exceptional service in challenging situations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Customer service and sales experience, preferably a phone‑based, customer‑facing role with target‑setting experience.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging settings.
  • Numerical capability for cash handling and counting.
  • Energetic personality and genuine passion for helping people.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
  • No banking experience required; training will be provided.
