The Opportunity
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Officer based at our Woodville site will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while coordinating orders, resolving issues, and supporting customers throughout the order lifecycle.
Working closely with Sales, Production, Planning, and Dispatch teams, you will help ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. This role suits a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and order processing accurately and efficiently
Provide customers with pricing, product specifications, lead times, and delivery information
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Dispatch, and Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met and orders are delivered on time
Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, and issue resolution to customers
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service
Investigate and resolve customer complaints, order discrepancies, delivery issues, and product concerns
Maintain accurate customer records and transaction details within ERP/CRM systems
Process payments, returns, exchanges, and general administrative tasks as required
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
The ideal candidate will have:
2-3 years’ experience in customer service, order processing, or administration
Experience in manufacturing, trade, logistics, or B2B environments highly regarded
Experience using ERP/CRM systems, with SAP or LISEC highly regarded
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork
Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety
