Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time Position Available

Virginia Nursery Pty Ltd is a family-owned and operated business and one of Australia's largest production nurseries. We propagate a significant proportion of the plants sold through our garden centre and supply wholesale vegetable seedlings to many commercial growers throughout the Adelaide Plains region.

We are seeking a Nursery Sales & Customer Service Officer to join our long-standing team.

We are flexible and welcome applications from candidates seeking either a permanent part-time or full-time position.

This position is focused on supporting our landscape, wholesale, and commercial growing customers. The successful applicant will process customer orders, manage enquiries, and provide exceptional customer service while working closely with our production and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

· Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions

· Assist customers with product availability and ordering requirements

· Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales documentation

· Coordinate orders with production and dispatch teams

· Maintain accurate customer records and administrative systems

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships

· Provide general sales and administrative support

About You

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Strong computer skills and experience using business software

· High level of organisation and attention to detail

· Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· A sound knowledge of plants and the horticultural industry, or a genuine interest in developing this knowledge, will be highly regarded

Previous nursery, horticultural, landscaping, agricultural, or related industry experience will be highly regarded.
