About this Opportunity.
RJE is seeking a Finance Officer based at RJE Global. RJE is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to manage financial processes, work as part of the team and ensure the smooth functioning of our financial operations. As a valued member of our finance team, the Finance Officer will handle components of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and associated financial transactions. The team has strong job knowledge and will support you as you transition into your new role.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Support the payroll manager and learn the payroll process using Employment Hero Payroll
Take ownership for the weekly payment run process
Prepare and process transactions and journal entries
Creditor, debtor and general ledger reconciliations between systems
Assist the accounting team on standing weekly and monthly tasks
Investigating account discrepancies and resolving issues
Supplier account reconciliation and query resolution
Ensure all financial transactions adhere to accounting principles and maintain accurate records
Provide support for ad hoc administrative and financial tasks as required
Contributing to ongoing process and system improvements
Experience
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll support
Credit Card Processing
Invoice processing
Good Excel skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Experience performing reconciliations
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Great attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounts Administration
Experience in finance, accounting ,payroll or a similar role
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting or finance operations.
